Let's Welcome the New Member of our Company, Shasta!

Well, we have been in Susanville for about 4 months, we are a little more settled into a routine for work...  so...we adopted a cat!

Meet Shasta, the magnificent lady cat, named for Mt. Shasta, which is North West of Susanville.  (A mountain we hope to climb someday!)

Shasta is a mellow, loving cat.  She gets into "crazy mode" around 10:00 pm and will be jumping on the banisters and chasing shadows around for an hour or two before she settles into bed.  She is entertaining and we are happy to have her around!

How is Ozark dealing with this new addition? He is a little jealous of having another beast in the house stealing his attention, but he is otherwise pretty happy.

All the best to our family and friends at the beginning of this holiday season!

  1. Congrats! Shasta looks like she's following some napkin etiquettes with that cute white triangle below her neck... After doing a little bit of research I feel that besides hiking that mountain with you, I need a Shasta soda, free the cougar mascot of University of Houston named Shasta, and visit the Shasta Caverns :-)
I already have planned where I am going to take you when you visit. You are going to love the mud caves at the Anza Borrego Desert, do some rock climbing at Mission Trails, and go diving in the kelp forest :-D

  2. That all sounds amazing! Who knew Shasta was such a popular name :)
