Our road trip has commenced! We went first to Red Rock Canyon in Oklahoma where we ran the red sandstone and camped in a beautiful, cool valley.

The next stop was Lake Meredith in Texas. There was not much to see, but we went for a swim in the lake and had a shower of thunderstorms as well.

On our way to Taos, we drove through the beautiful Rocky Mountains- a little too fast apparently, because Jennifer got a speeding ticket. But that couldn't damper our spirits on this awesome trip!

Next was Taos, New Mexico where we stayed with a family friend of Ian's. Danny, who was kind enough to host us in his beautiful, 100+ year old home, also showed us around Taos and pointed us to the Earth Ship headquarters and the Taos Pueblo, an Indian reservation.

We are about half way through the trip. Next will be the Grand Canyon, Las Vegas, and then Reno, Nevada. We will post another update soon!
